Midweek home match against Redgate, who have only lost 3 all season!

Within the first minute Redgate showed their intent, with a shot from 25yds, just over the bar.

4` Florence win a freekick taken by S Edwards, cleared by Redgate.

6` J Baker links up with S Edwards and gets a shot away, keeper saves.

10` First corner to Redgate take long towards the back stick, headed in by their No 9. 0-1 not the best defending made it to easy.

11 Redgate beats our defence and our keeper makes a challenge on their player in the box giving away a penalty!!

J Grocott makes a great save from the spot and also deals with the rebound twice!, although he`s lucky to still be on the pitch, could of easily been a red card.
Last 10 we need to close down quicker giving them far to much time to move the ball around.

20` J Baker plays a ball into D Biegus on the by-line he lifts it the back post where N Woods is looking to head in, but its just to high for him.
22 Florence win another corner S Edwards sends it long to D Biegus, he sets D Heler away, but the keeper closes down and clears away.
30` Redgate look to play a long ball beyond our defence but A Parr gets up and heads back to the keeper.
33` D Biegus links with D Heler but again the keeper comes out and clears.

37` Redgate look to counter after a loose ball in midfield M Johnson tracks the player and wins a freekick deep in his own half. Great defending from M Johnson.

In the last 5` of the half Redgate end the stronger team, working quicker across the pitch keeping the ball down and always looking to counter, they win another couple of corners but this time J Grocott takes in the air.

49` Redgate really pushing for that 2nd goal, we just can`t keep the ball.
51` A Parr makes a last minute block, which surely would of been a goal for the visitors.
64` Redgate win the ball in mid and work a shot in across the keeper. Goal 0-2. to easy should of been cleared.

With 20` to play N Woods almost gets in when a through ball from J Bakers sends him away, but he gets closed down quickly forcing an early shot which goes wide.

75` Redgate get another breaking down the wing and cutting inside then firing in! 3-0.
78` Florence make a triple change, but with only 12/13 minutes left to play and 3-0 down, this game all but done.
80` Redgate win another corner J Grocott punches away, it gets put back in and A Byrne heads clear.

82` J Boulton picks up the ball from M Johnson and heads down the wing, the defender closes him down he plays a quick one two with J Baker, then flicks it to G Rowe, but his touch lets him down.
A long ball to G Rowe, from midfield gives him the chance to head in, which he does but the keeper takes.
83` J baker sends J Boulton down the left wing who clips to G Rowe, but again his shot is taken by the keeper.

84` R Capewell, has a shot on the move but this goes over.

Florence clear the ball from a Redgate attack and give away another corner, this is taken long and missed by our player which then gives their striker a free header to make it 4-0, should of been cleared of the line really, but 4-0 and it could of been a lot worse had the Ref sent our keeper off earlier in the match.

My view....
Good first 30` but seemed to run out of steam, players looked tired, reactions a little slow to close down, triple subs in the last 13` at 3-0 down not enough time to get into the game really.
Just one of those days!!
