Brilliant performance today!
The defence were outstanding again, we tweaked it early in the first half and it worked well. Following last weeks game, we worked on our sliding in defence, lying on and line speed, all were much improved today. Credit to the players for taking it on board and putting it in to practice straight away.

We are lucky to have great runners throughout the team, the support for the runner was also better today and a couple of offloads resulted in good tries. We need to start playing through hands a bit more though and will work on this in training.

Leads by example in both attack and defence, always first on the scene in defence and tries to make things happen in attack whether that's taking in a drive or playing through hands, another quality performance

Top performance today, his positioning was great , took some good drives in and was solid in defence, hurt his wrist early on, but stayed on to help the team. Well done!

Top Tackler - Axel
So solid in defence today, we asked him to play a wider role to stop the opposition getting it wide. his line speed, communication and technique were all great today, a big reason we won today.

Player of the match - Charles
What a debut! his all round play today made this an easy decision, hard running that the opposition couldn't deal with. Big tackling against some hard opposition runners. Kept himself busy all match. Got a tasty cut and black eye for his troubles, not to mention a hat-trick of tries. It already feels like he's been with us forever.
