Formby U13 were unbeaten in the first phase of the MYC U13 competition, beating Hightown, Bootle, Northern A and Northern B.

Formby will be joined in the MYC U13 Shield by the winners of the other two groups plus the two best 2nd places.

Next week (June 9th) is a free week, Shield fixtures will start on Sunday June 16th.

The lower-placed teams in the groups progress to the Vase and the Plate competitions.

Ollie Sutton has been the outstanding batsman so far with scores of 76* against Hightown, 65* against Bootle and 76* against Northern A.
