An unfortunate loss for the Auctioneers yesterday away to Halkyn United. It was always go be hard playing away from Lon Groes home grounds. With Barry Jones making his debut along with our new keeper Stephen Owen Jones you noticed their presence on the pitch. It seemed at times there was a protective forcefield around the Halkyn goal with a good few shots fired. 1-0 at half time Gaerwen had the chance to equalise and make it 1-1, but it wasn't meant to be as Halkyn battled hard to take the win at 4-2. Couple of errors on our part but plenty of positives to take away from the match.
