Following the departure of Lee Jones after a great few seasons at the Club the role of 1st team Manager at Gaerwen FC has been given to young and exciting new manager - Justin Gallagher.

Justin Gallagher has been with the club in some capacity for a good few years gaining experience coaching with the Youth Sections at Gaerwen and with Caernarfon Town Academy and also helped out with the seniors side quite a few years ago. The club have decided to give this up and coming manager an opportunity with the club as the club sees Gaerwen FC as a long term project.

The committee and team at Gaerwen FC have desired for younger players to play a big part of the club - after all they are the future of the game on this footballing mad Island we live on and in the new season hoping to give some of them an opportunity to as it were'learn their trade' in the senior game along with wanting some experienced players to stay.

Lee Jones had built a good team over the years and was a great asset to the club and everyone from players, committee and supporters were devastated when they heard the news that he was moving on but as all clubs know the show must go on.

Quoted by Justin "Gaerwen's first team was the first team I ever volunteered for when I got into football coaching, so it feels great to be manager. This will be my 6th season working for the Gaerwen side, so it is obviously a club I love and want to do the best for. When I was with Pentraeth it was the reserve team, and working with the Academy in Caernarfon, I've always focused on developing young players and winning, which is something I will be giving my all to in this role"
