Gainsborough Town Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Darren Lindsey as First Team Manager with immediate effect, he will lead his first training session next week and take charge of the team for the first time next weekend when we face Epworth Town Colts.
After meeting with the chairman, the club can confirm that Darren’s values, beliefs and philosophy align perfectly with the clubs’ beliefs, and we look forward to seeing the progression under the new management.

Darren is FA Level 2 qualified and has vast experience coaching youth teams in/around Gainsborough, most recently with Gainsborough Trinity Under 19’s. He joins us 8 games into our first ever season with Town sat mid-table on 10 points. Darren will look to stamp his mark on the first team, bringing in youth to help bolster the ranks. In the coming days he will appoint his Assistant Manager and Alex Danville will round off the management team as First Team Coach.
