After being buoyed mid-week, from the award of three points from a fixture vs Huntingdon where the opposition had played an ineligible player, GUFC knew a win vs March would see them climb to the top of the table. Gamlingay started fast, with a goal scored by Jimmy Walker, his 13th of the season. James Cooper scored Gamlingay’s second, before March got a goal back before the break. GUFC were dominant in possession but needed a goal to make the score line more comfortable, this was added by Bonham. Coops finished the scoring, with a fine goal assisted by Tom Barker, taking him to double figures for the campaign.
