Pre-season training is in full flow with the team opting for twice weekly sessions. Monday sees the lads training up at Glebelands and Wednesday at the Academy (although this could change through the summer). All new players are welcome and training starts at 7pm on both nights.

Coach Adi Horwell will be leading the squad into the new Yorkshire 4 NW league, pitching up against Bramley Phoenix, Wibsey, Burley, Leeds Corinthians, Knaresborough, Halifax and Thirsk. The first League fixture will be a home match against Knaresborough on 9th September (full fixture details here: http://www.rfunorth.com/fixtures/fixtures.htm).

At present we have a pre-season friendly/mini tour to Scarborough on Saturday 12th August where the match will be followed by a night out and camping.

As mentioned Garforth RUFC will be 25 years old in September 2017. To celebrate this Anniversary the club will be holding a Gentlemans Rugby Dinner with amazing guest speaker Mark 'Ronnie' Regan, ex hooker for Bristol, Bath & Leeds Tykes as well as England and the British Lions….plus Award winning comedian Gary Marshall. This celebration is initially open to members past and present. You have up until 1st August 2017 to get your ticket, beyond that date tickets will be on sale to other rugby clubs and the general public.
