U18s Girls Scotland Squad

After 7 of our u18s girls successfully represented Garioch at the Girls Regional u18 series we are absolutely delighted to have 2 girls selected for the National U18s squad.
Megan Riach has previously trained with Deeside, Montrose, Huntly and Moray RFC but has been core to our Garioch squad as captain at both u16s and u18s over the last 4 years. She successfully led us to the u18s Bowl final in Edinburgh earlier in the season and also travels from her home in Keith to train as a Scottish Academy player in Aberdeen 3 times a week.
Josie Foubister is also a Scottish Academy player. She joined us from Mackie RFC at the start of this season after making the difficult choice between football and rugby. We are so glad she did! Quickly establishing herself in the core of our centres Josie has selflessly supported the team in a variety of positions this season. With electrifying pace and quick decision making Josie is a really exciting player to watch - something always happens when she has the ball in hand. We just won't mention yellow cards...
We are so proud to support both Megan and Josie on their Scotland journey and some of us will even travelling to support them both in Wales!
