Next up…Thorne Colliery

Paul Hepworth5 Sep 2011 - 18:56

Glapwell will be looking for an immediate response to Saturday’s defeat at Harworth Colliery when they host Thorne Colliery at Hall Corner this Tuesday night, kick-off 7.45pm.

The results over the weekend pushed Glapwell down the league a couple of places to ninth although with only two games in the division on Tuesday night a victory for Glapwell could see them climb as high as fourth depending on the other result between Harworth and Parkhouse.

Glapwell, though, should be boosted by the returns of Justin Burdett and Craig Charlesworth who were both unavailable for the game at Harworth, Aaron Shelley could also take some part after signing on for the club last week.

Thorne, have started the season slowly with only one victory from their opening six league games. They are currently in 14th place with five points and are winless in their last four league games, losing three. So far, their only league victory this campaign has come away at Bentley Colliery when they triumphed 1-0.

Admission prices are £3 Adults, £1.50 Concessions.
