Newcastle Town are the latest visitors to Surrey Street for a mid-week clash under the lights this Tuesday.
The game marks Glossop's second successive home game, with another against Kidsgrove to come on Saturday.
Tuesday's visitors Newcastle Town, sit in 15th, three places above Glossop but a healthy 12 points ahead of The Hillmen.
Town have conceded eight goals in their last two games, suffering a 4-0 defeat against Prescot Cables last Saturday and a 4-1 defeat away to Atherton Collieries the previous week.
Further defeats against Mossley and Runcorn mean they have lost their last four games in a row. However, before this run of bad form, they had picked up two successive narrow wins against Ramsbottom and Widnes, cementing their comfortable league position.
Over the last eight games, Newcastle have only accrued one more point than Glossop with six with three out of their last 4 league defeats coming away from home.
Glossop and Newcastle have both conceded 68 league goals this season, with Newcastle holding a slightly better goal difference having scored 46 goals compared to Glossop's 34.
With Glossop mathematically safe, joint managers Pete Band and Lloyd Morrison will want to finish the season strong, with an opportunity for certain players to impress ahead of the close season.
Much like our visitors, Glossop have also lost the last four league games, most recently suffering a 2-0 loss to Leek Town last Saturday.
Glossop will want to build on certain parts of Saturday's performance, players such as Fransesco Frangillo and Kayde Coppin started in a reshuffled team whilst loanee George Danaher also started for the first time since joining from Huddersfield Town. However, Frangillo was taken off injured on Saturday with Szymon Czubik his replacement.
