Greater Lowell United FC's National Premier Soccer League team won the 2015 Falcon Cup at Fitchburg State University on Sunday, April 19. GLUFC followed a 2-1 win over Worcester State with a 2-0 victory over Plymouth State before drawing 1-1 with the hosts from Fitchburg. Fitchburg State also finished undefeated but drew two of three games. The matches were 60-minute encounters, as the entire preseason tournament took place in one day.
