End of an era at GWCC with Sam Arthurton moving onto a new and exciting challenges in his career.

The club would like to thank Sam for his unrivalled commitment over the last 20 years at the club. Many at the club have seen him grow from a little kid into arguably the best club batsman in the country.

During this time he has always represented the club with integrity, passion and talent. Talent which has seen him go on to become Norfolk CCC captain and one of the leading lights in Minor Counties Cricket.

The club is incredibly proud of his cricketing achievements having seen him develop through our thriving youth section, which has produced a succession of Norfolk CCC players in recent years.

It is with sadness we see Sam depart GWCC, but we wish him all the success he deserves in both a cricketing and professional capacity.
