"He is a Local lad helping a club in the community and doing what any good friend would do."

I would just like to state for the record regarding the signing of Adam Drury that he is a very good friend of mine and in the mist of Paul Walden leaving and players following him out the exit door, we had to make emergency signings in order to ensure we had a squad available on Tuesday night.

He is a Local lad helping a club in the community and doing what any good friend would do.

He has strictly played for Borough as a favour. Adam has many options in the pipeline regarding League 1, League 2 and Vanarama National League teams in the summer and he has seen it as a opportunity whilst gaining fitness, to be playing with a smile on his face and enjoying the beautiful game whilst waiting on making a decision for bigger and better things in the future. It was a win win situation for all parties.

Adam did a job out of position as a striker and took his chances exceptionally well last night.

He still has a lot to offer at a higher standard that is for sure. Hopefully we will see him in a Borough shirt again before the end of the season if it benefits all parties.

Grimsby borough would like to personally thank Adam in this transitional period.

Thanks Baz
(Danny Barrett, Manager)
