Both our teams secured wins over the weekend, with the Firsts downing Gresford at Airbus UK Broughton's ground on Friday night.
In a close first half Guilsfield managed to go in 1-0 up at the break after a Gresford defender's header found Greg Draper who squared to Chris Cathrall to finish, as the defence appealed for offside. We doubled our advantage in the second half with Robbie james tapping home from close range after a Chris Cathrall throw failed to be cleared by the home defence.
Guilsfield saw off the rest of the game to secure a 5th win of the season.

Meanwhile our Reserves side put Dolgellau Res to the sword by notching 10 goals past the visitors. The game began well for Dolgellau, taking an early lead before Guilsfield settled and took over the game. The away side lacked experience and game time and our passing game quickly wore down the visitors.
This was our 3rd win on the trot after a sticky start to the season, and Oli Morgan's team are now sitting near the top of the Reserves League.
