Cup Final Defeat.

Guilsfield started with the usual back 3 + Keeper, with Adam Clewlow in goal, Dan Bath, Dom Rendall and Jack Phillips made up the back 3. Fergus Stevens played at Right wing back with Iolo Jones at left wing back. Rhett Bailey and Stephen Joyce started in holding midfield, with Jake Ellis in a free role behind the 2 strikers, Jay Holley and Shane Kriek, who came in for Ross Wilkinson who dropped to the bench. Along with Charlie Williams, Dino Georgiou and Toby Missen.

Guilsfield took an early lead after a Jay Holley pass fell to Iolo Jones who bundled the ball in. A second was added quickly after as Shane Krieks long throw caused havoc, it fell back to him and he crossed the ball in for Iolo Jones to add his second.
Ross Wilkinson added a third just before half time after a long ball from Dan Bath. But then Guilsfield were far too complacent and with the chances they had should've killed the game off. Jay Holley, Shane Kriek and Iolo Jones all missing big opportunities.

Second half was different, Llanidloes stole a goal against the run of play and then began to control the game, a wonder strike of a volley added Llani's second and pilled on the pressure. And added a third late on.

Jay Holley was then booked after an altercation with the linesman. Llanidloes scored late on to take the game to extra time. After a blatant penalty shout was turned down, a Llanidloes player pushed Jay Holley resulting in a head butt from the striker, and therefore he saw red. The other player was also booked for the push but no penalty was given, so the referee acknowledged the blatant foull and still allowed the game to flow when Guilsfield should've had a penalty to win the game with a minute to go.

Penalties.

First 4 were all scored by Dino Georgiou, Dom Rendall, Jake Ellis and Rhett Bailey, but misses from Jack Phillips, Iolo Jones and Fergus Stephens resulted in Llanidloes winning the cup.
