The first team travel to face Albion Sports tomorrow afternoon for our first away league fixture in 3 and a half weeks.
Albion sit in 6th place in the table, with 50 points from 33 games (by far the most of any side in the division) played
P33 W15 D5 L13 F70 A63 PTS50
The Ambers sit in 4th place and are 5 points ahead of our hosts, but with 8 games in hand.
The previous meeting between the two sides this season was a 9 goal thriller, back in September. The Ambers won 6-3 at Sandy Lane with goals from Frogatt (2), Adams (2), Wells and Marrison securing a big home win.
Such high-scoring games are not a rarity for Albion Sports, who are one of the division's highest scorers, but have conceded more goals than any other side in the top half of the table.
The players in the goals for Albion Sports are:
Marcus Edwards 25
Omar Habeeb 12
Alex Cusack 11
Godber's men will be in good spirits as they enter the fixture on the back of a 5 game unbeaten run, 4 of these games ending in victories for the Ambers. We are also unbeaten away in the league since the 25th August.
Albion come into the game with a mixed form guide. They won 1-0 at home to Parkgate on Wednesday night, which was preceded by defeats to Cleethorpes (1-0) and Maltby Main (3-1) but also an impressive away win at Rainworth (3-1).
Farsley AFC's Throstle Nest Ground will be the host venue, as Albion continue to groundshare with the Leeds-based club.
Kick off is 3pm and admission prices are £5 adults, £3 concessions.
If you can get up to cheer on the boys then please do, your continued support is much appreciated by all!
UP THE AMBERS!
