The Board Of Handsworth Junior Sporting Club are delighted to bring news of a significant milestone with regards our facility investment....

We can confirm that our appointed Football Foundation framework contractors will be on site at our Oliver’s Mount complex from Monday 1st July as work begins on our new FIFA quality state of the art 3G playing surface and upgrading of our floodlights .

The club would like to place on record their thanks to everyone who has contributed in making our facility project a reality, as we take our investment into facilities for the club and local community to new heights.

The construction of our state of the art FIFA quality match play 3G surface is expected to take approximately 11 weeks to build bringing a near 3 year journey with the project to a close.

This project is a near £700,000 investment into Oliver’s Mount and is a huge undertaking by the club and our board, so this coming Monday will be a very proud day for the whole club.

We will be making exciting formal announcements in the coming weeks with regards details of our funding partners, of availability for club use, local club use & community use of the new facility, and of course of our facility opening event.

The club would welcome expressions of interest from any local clubs and community organisations who may wish to use the facility, and interested parties should contact us via this link I’m interested

We will also have a number of commercial opportunities for Businesses to gain exposure at our new facility from pitchside boards to naming rights of the site.... again interested parties please click the link I’m Interested

We do ask for everyone’s understanding and patience during the construction phase, and full details of do’s and don’ts on the site will be published to club members in the coming days.

Please note from Monday 1st July, use of the bottom car park will not be permitted with just the top car park open for use.
