For those of you who haven't met our Head Coach, Josh Biggs has been involved at Harbury since he was an M&J, and having assisted former coach Hendry with training sessions, stepped up to become Head Coach for the 2022/23 season.

In Josh's first year in charge, Harbury outperformed expectations and finished 3rd in the division, missing out on promotion by a single point.

Biggsy has brought a whole new shape to the squad, modelled on Northampton Saints' style and has helped to both re-invigorate training and the club in general as we've grown the club from a position of weakness in 2021/2022, to having over 100 people play for the club last year, with a regular 2's side reintroduced to the club. Biggs has recently been promoted to Analysis Lead at @northamptonsaints , which is a huge accomplishment, and despite his busy schedule still finds time to plan training sessions which are both enjoyable and taxing.

With an extra year of learning, and some exciting signings, Harbury will be looking to press on and gain promotion this year.
We asked Biggs what his thoughts on the upcoming season were;
'We didn't expect the club to grow as it has in the last year, but we're really excited with what we're building with both the 1s and 2s squads and can't wait for the season to start. What a club. You are my Harbury.'
