Harrow's youngest entrepreneurs launch campaign

Harrow's youngest entrepreneurs launch campaign

Neil MacDonald18 Mar - 14:48

Two of our U11 players are selling rugby balls and helping Greenhouse Sports charity

Leo and Zack play in the Harrow U10 side and decided to launch a business which helps a sports charity.

They are selling some size 4 rugby balls via the Harrow RFC kit shop and £2 from every sale will go to Greenhouse Sports, a charity that provides sports coaching and mentoring to help young people from disadvantaged communities.

They pitched the business plan to Neil MacDonald who said "we're in" and the first balls were sold last weekend.

There's a connection to the charity as Douglas Barrell is one of their teammates and his dad, Don, is CEO of Greenhouse Sports. Don denies any influence on the plan but is encouraging and very happy for the boys to help.

Well done boys and good luck to Z&L Trading!
