Forget the escaped capybara in Shropshire, in North London on Saturday 17 lions were on the rampage.
After a chastening defeat the week before to Ealing, Harrow were on the right end of a high scoring fixture, with a dominant performance 76-10 victory at Finsbury Park.
On what was a glorious afternoon a mix of young and old pulled on the shirt, and delivered an excellent all round performance.
Highlights of the day in no particular order:
Debut Harrow tries for Lennox, Jack Coyne, Adam Clatworthy ; 4 tries for David Reeder (jug avoided - note for next week), Rory shedding blood and tackling anything that moved ; Pete and Ted Skyrme (father and son) on the same pitch again ; Finlay back in a Harrow shirt ; Josh casually one handed passing out of every tackle ; Gibson at 9 and probably pass of the season from yours truly to put Conor Doran under the posts (it got better as the evening wore on)
Proper rugby spirit also in that as injuries reduced the opposition we matched numbers and lent players to ensure the game continued.
A great afternoon of rugby, some good post match beer and food in the local craft beer/pizza brewery, and another game under the belt for the 2s.
This coming week two games at home again as 1XV entertain fellow unbeaten side Hampstead, and the lions welcome Northolt to Grove Field.
More details to follow in week across all the usual social media channels.

Thanks as always to those that trekked across London to support – Spurs at home and boxing at Wembley not the best combo for a travel around the North Circular – but some got it done, so thank you.
