The U15's will start their season with a tough game away to Ealing in the league. Hence, beforehand the rules have been added for the benefit of the players.
Due to the major affect of COVID on sports in the last 24 months, the RFU have decided it would be in the best interests for age-grade rugby to play rules a year down until the turn of the year, before making the step up. This means the U15's will be playing the U14 rules until January, when the U15 rules will be introduced.
The U14 rules can be found here. The main emphasis being on the introduction of the lineout and reintroduction of mauls and scrums, a place where the 15's have always been very strong, in the post COVID era.
The U15 rules can be found here. This provides a bridge, along with the U16's, between youth rugby and the step up to Colts. This primarily involves the addition of lifting in the scrum.
