All new players will find a warm welcome to Harrow U15 so please come along and check us out!
We train and play on Sunday mornings between 10am and 12pm and the new rugby season starts on Sunday 8th September 2024 and runs to the end of April 2025.
Just come to a training session and join in to see how enjoyable it is!
Mums and Dads are very welcome to make use of our clubhouse and cafe kitchen while the children are playing and we are always delighted to see new faces and make new friends.
It's free to try for a couple of sessions before you need to join and pay anything, so please come and give it a go! All you need is sports kit and a gumshield. At U15 we train and play competitive matches to the England Rugby Age Grade rugby standards which includes contact. We do not allow anyone play contact forms of rugby without the proper training and skill development to ensure safety. That is always our priority at Harrow RFC and all our coaches are RFU qualified to ensure that every child takes part safely and gets the most out of the sport that he can. Enjoyment is also always a priority too!
Our U15 squad compete in the Saracens Herts/Middlesex leagues against other clubs in the area in both home and away matches. This makes for a great team spirit and players progress well at this age and can develop their rugby skills quickly. The core values of rugby - Teamwork, Respect, enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship really come together at this age and how we play the game at Harrow. Playing at a club is very different from playing at school and we are constantly reminded how our training and standards have helped develop players further in their chosen sport. We also offer support for off the field activities such as Duke of Edinburgh schemes or other programmes with volunteering and new role experience such as match officials.
