A third league win in a row against the strong league leaders Verulamians has given Harrow a healthy league position with one league game still to play.
Harrow got off to a flyer with Masahiro continuing his try scoring spree with two tries in the opening 5 mins. Firstly after a great surging run from Dylan A and secondly after great work from Ed B and Harry, Masa used his pace and great footwork to run clear of the opposition defence. There was no let up when James broke free and ran in our third. With Ed R converting all 3 kicks, Harrow raced into a 21-0 lead within 10 mins
Verulamians finally came into the game after realizing where our strengths were and with some very speedy and powerful runners in their midst, went over our try line twice in a matter of minutes to reduce our lead to one score

The second half started with Harrow back in control and we spent a great deal of time near Verulamians try line without getting in the killer blow, regularly giving away penalties when looking like scoring. However the sustained pressure did pay off with Mateusz and Sonny forcing their way over to put us in a commanding 31-14 lead with less than 10 minutes to go.
Verulamians showed why they are league leaders though with two tries at the death, the second however coming with the last play of the game giving them no time to complete the comeback

A great game of rugby from both sides with Harrow producing their best team display of the season.
