The county F.A .had decided that we must play a ‘first team’ in both the Spartan league and the Harrow and district league.
In the summer of 1934 we had moved to our new ground at Earlsmead, where we still play today.
We began our Spartan league life with a 2-1 win over Windsor. Both A.J. McLeod and G. Cheesmur played in this match and would remained regulars at Earlsmead for over 50 years.
F. Green had taken over as manager. Finishing 9th in our first season at this level was very credible
The leading goal scorers were Ted Bickles (16 goals) and ‘Bunny’ Barnett (12).
In the Harrow & District league, we finished 3rd, whilst the third team were eighth in their division.
