A difficult season, on the field and financially, at the end of which we successfully applied for re-election. Between October and March the first team failed to win a game, despite the efforts of Eric Boden in goal. Manager F.S. Green was hampered by ‘injuries, illness and the usual crop of last minute notices from players unable to turn up’; according to the press at the time A. Daws was our leading scorer with 5 goals. The semi-final of the Harrow Charity Cup was reached, before defeat at Wealdstone.
Despite the difficulties of the season the club had progressed from the local league to the Spartan league in just two years which was a remarkable performance. Due credit must thus be given to the 9 enthusiasts who founded club in 1933: J.W. Hanger (chairman), A.T. Kinch (vice chairman), T.W. Lee (Hon. Treasurer), G. Moon (Hon. Secretary), A. Hill, A. Moon, C. Sands and Messrs. Harris and McIntyre.
