Having been bottom of the league two years previously, we now just missed out on the one promotion place. Two close fought defeats to Pinner were to prove decisive. As Roxonian finished runners up to Pinner in the final season that we used the original name before changing to Harrow Town. Managed by Tommy Thompson, we entered the F.A. Amateur Cup, Middlesex Senior Cup & the London Senior Cup for the first time.
The final seventeen games of the season saw fifteen wins, a draw & one defeat. We had the league’s best defensive record & twice kept three clean sheets in row. A feat that was not bettered by a Harrow side until 1984.
The Reserves were champions of the Middlesex League Division One (west)
