Boro's reaction to losing to League Two side, Chesterfield, in the FA Cup in early November has been to put together an eight-game (and counting, hopefully) unbeaten run in the Ryman Premier Division. The sequence of two draws and six wins has seen the Reds score twenty-two goals, and concede just six; a remarkable record, but fully-deserved due to some fantastic team performances.
Boro' lost 2-0 at Canvey in the second match of the season, but took revenge in style in the return fixture. Two strikes each from Troy Hewitt and Daniel McGonigle, a penalty by Rocky Baptiste, and a rare headed goal by Kenta Nakashima gave Harrow a stunning victory over a good side. Look out for the two excellent goals by Daniel McGonigle in particular.
Seven goals in a terrific match on a difficult pitch, and even a tumble from the referee - what more could you want?
Have a peaceful 2011.
