It is with great sadness that we report that ex Harrow Borough Winger & fans favourite Frank Seward has passed away.

Frank, 64 had undergone knee surgery , he was recovering well and receiving treatment at home, but unfortunately had a sudden blood clot that caused a heart attack, that his brother Gary described as “ like turning out the lights” Gary went on to say “My brother was always very proud to have played so many times for Harrow Borough FC and loved the club dearly”

Frank joined Boro in the Summer of 1976, He made over 200 appearances & scored 48 goals. He is probably best remembered for scoring a great goal in the 3-0 FA Trophy home win v Wealdstone on the 3rd December 1977. He played in the side that won promotion to the Isthmian League Premier Division & In the Middlesex Charity Cup winning side of 1980.

After leaving Earlsmead Frank played for Wembley FC and then
went on to do some scouting for Wimbledon, West Bromwich Albion, Derby County, Southampton & Forest Green Rovers.
