Nic has played a key role in the growth of the female game at Mayfield Park over the last couple years as both a player and coach of our Under 12 Girls.

She will be responsible for strengthening and developing relationships with the local schools in the area, organising events and coordinating coaching support.

Director of Rugby, Liam Lester, said: “Nicola has been a key figure in the club, on and off the field, since joining the club a couple of years ago.

“Her passion and enthusiasm for growing the game and engaging young people is infectious. She is very well organised and has already established strong links with local schools and the School’s Games Coordinator.

“When looking at the structure of the club and the roles within it we felt that there was a gap in terms of having that main contact for schools & colleges.

“Given the hard work that Nic has already put into this area around helping to organise school festivals at Mayfield Park and providing support, she was the natural fit for the role.

“We would like to wish her the very best and are in no doubt that she will be a great ambassador for the club.”
