On Saturday we welcome Ollerton Town to the Jones & Co Recreational Ground in Central Midlands Alliance action. We wish a warm welcome to all the players, officials, and supporters of Ollerton Town.

As always entry for the game is £3 for adults, £2 for concessions and free for members and kids under 16 years old. Toms Tea Room will be open for refreshments and the Pavilion will be open for pre and post-match drinks. Also, the Shaft Side Bar will be open throughout the game for alcoholic beverages. The club’s raffle will also be up for grabs so please remember to purchase your tickets. As always, your support is greatly appreciated.

We currently sit in 10th position in the league table, with 25 points after 17 fixtures. Last Saturday we lost 2-1 away at Worksop Town Reserves, with Callum Edwards scoring. On Saturday 25th January we drew 3-3 away at St Josephs, with Callum Edwards bagging a hat-trick. On Thursday 16th January we won 3-0 at home to Gresley Rovers Reserves, with Callum Edwards, Adam Morrison and Harvey Smith scoring. On Saturday 4th January we lost 5-4 at home to Staveley Miners Welfare Reserves, with Josh Bowkett, Joe Green, Mason Laws and Rob Singer scoring. On Saturday 21st December we won 4-2 away at Cromford & Wirksworth Town in the third round of the Buckingham Insurance League Cup, with Mason Laws scoring twice, and Ben Dyer and Callum Edwards getting the other Colliery goals.

Our visitors currently sit in 11th position in the table, with 25 points from 21 matches. Last Saturday they lost 3-1 at home to Hatfield Town, with Alex Wilkinson scoring. On Saturday 25th January they lost 3-1 at home to Dinnington Town, with Adam Scott scoring. On Saturday 18th January they won 3-2 at home to Glapwell, with Ash McEwan, Vladislavs Nitiss and Adam Scott scoring.

The two sides have previously met on 33 occasions in the league, with Colliery winning five, drawing 11 and losing 17 of those meetings. The last time that the sides met was on Saturday 19th October at Walesby Lane, with Adam Morrison getting the only goal in a 1-0 Colliery victory.
