Match Preview for Rossington Main FC Development away

On Saturday we travel to the Welfare Ground to take on Rossington Main Reserves in Central Midlands Alliance action. As always, your support is greatly appreciated by everybody at the club. The address for the ground is Oxford Street, Rossington, Doncaster, DN11 0TE.

We currently sit in 10th position in the league table, with 32 points after 22 fixtures. Last Saturday we won 3-1 away at AFC Phoenix, with Adam Morrison scoring twice, and Callum Edwards getting the other Colliery goal. On Thursday 20th March we lost 1-0 against South Normanton Athletic in the final of the Abacus Lighting Floodlit Cup. On Saturday 15th March we lost 2-0 at home to AFC Bentley in the Buckingham Insurance League Cup quarter final. On Tuesday 11th March we won 4-2 away at Kinsley Boys in the semi-final of the Abacus Lighting Floodlit Cup, with Callum Edwards, Joe Green, Mason Laws and Adam Morrison scoring. On Saturday 8th March we won 3-2 away at Kiveton Miners Welfare, with Jason Kearsley scoring twice, and Rob Singer getting the other goal.

Our hosts currently sit in 16th position in the table, with six points from 25 fixtures. Last Saturday they lost 1-0 at home to St Josephs. On Saturday 15th March they lost 3-0 away at St Josephs. On Saturday 8th March they lost 1-0 at home to AFC Phoenix.

The two sides have previously met on three occasions, with Colliery winning two and losing one of those meetings. The sides have already met earlier this season at the Jones & Co Recreational Ground, with Colliery winning 4-0 on Saturday 21st September, with Adam Morrison scoring twice and the other goals coming from Cory Goodwin and Cam Till.

One to watch for Rossington Main Reserves will be Oliver Bowes. So far this season he has scored four times in 16 appearances.
