On Tuesday evening we welcome Yorkshire Main to the Jones & Co Recreational Ground in Central Midlands Alliance action. We wish a warm welcome to all the players, officials, and supporters of Yorkshire Main.

As always entry for the game is £3 for adults, £2 for concessions and free for members. Toms Tea Room will be open for refreshments and the Pavilion will be open for pre and post-match drinks. Also, the Shaft Side Bar will be open throughout the game for alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. The club’s raffle will also be up for grabs so please remember to purchase your tickets. As always, your support is greatly appreciated.

We currently sit in 10th position in the league table, with 33 points after 24 fixtures. On Friday we drew 2-2 away at Doncaster City, with Mason Laws and Adam Morrison scoring. On Saturday 29th March we lost 1-0 away at Rossington Main Reserves. On Saturday 22nd March we away won 3-1 away at AFC Phoenix, with Adam Morrison scoring twice, and Callum Edwards getting the other Colliery goal. On Thursday 20th March we lost 1-0 against South Normanton Athletic in the final of the Abacus Lighting Floodlit Cup. On Saturday 15th March we lost 2-0 at home to AFC Bentley in the Buckingham Insurance League Cup quarter final.

Our visitors currently sit in 13th place in the table, with 24 points from 28 matches. On Saturday 29th March they lost 4-0 at home to Dinnington Town. On Saturday 22nd March they lost 6-1 at home to Hatfield Town, with Raul Cioboata scoring. On Saturday 15th March they lost 5-0 at home to Doncaster City.

The two sides have previously met on 25 occasions, with Colliery winning 12, drawing six and losing seven of those meetings. The last time that the sides met was on Saturday 5th October, with Colliery winning 3-0 away at Yorkshire Main, with Marley Alder, Callum Edwards and Adam Morrison scoring.
