The club undertook a recruitment process last week and during this process it became apparent that it was key for us to recruit a manager who was hard working and professional, has excellent local knowledge, someone prepared to give young local talent opportunity and also someone that knew the size of the job ahead following the disruption this summer.

Darryl has been tasked with providing much needed stability to the club, engaging with the local community and working in collaboration to restructure certain areas of the football club over the next couple of seasons.

The football club and Darryl are fully aware this process could take a couple of seasons and beyond to achieve, Haverhill Borough will do its upmost to support Darryl, the players and the local community throughout this time.

Lastly all at Haverhill Borough would like to thank everyone for their continued support especially over the past couple of weeks which has been extremely challenging even more so with the new season fast approaching.
