It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces enter our competition. Thank you to all that took part on the day. It was a great social event for all and the club has received great feedback that everybody that attended, enjoyed the day immensely.

In my eyes all teams were winners, but the top 3 positions on the day were as follows:

1ST PLACE: Team CHOAT (140 pts);
2ND PLACE: Team HARDY (135 pts);
3RD PLACE: Team Smith (130 pts)

We had 9 Players share the prize pot in our '2s' Competition. The most amazing win of the day was an 11 year old daughter of one of the players, Lyla who won the fantastic Putting Competition organised and run on the day by Peasgood & Skeates.

The club must thank all the players and many businesses that played a part in the successful event - no matter whether you were a participant on the day, a sponsor, a business donating prizes for the day or a volunteer.

Firstly, Haverhill Golf Club itself - Michael Bruce and his catering and bar staff were very attentive on the day and ensured the day ran smoothly. The venue itself is fantastic. A special mention and thanks to Lynne Hart who was our independent score card marker on the day.

We must thank our Prize sponsors on the day which were Adept Property Lawyers (1st/2nd Prize), Key Mortgage Solutions (1st/2nd Prize), Action Handling (3rd Prize) and Silverwood Builders and Developers (Nearest the Pin + Longest Drive).
