1. What's involved in running the club


The club is run by a small committee of volunteers who work very hard behind the scenes to ensure the club runs efficiently according to regulations and guidelines set by the Kent FA. Safeguarding is our priority but essential tasks include:
• Meeting all safeguarding requirements including policy revision and ongoing training
• Implementation of FA rules and guidelines as they arise
• The organisation, care and preparation of pitches for each match
• Annual Standard Charter health-check and renewal
• Ensuring each player is registered correctly with the appropriate league with accurate documentation
• Correspondence and liaison with each league we play in and attending regular meetings
• Arranging matches with other clubs
• Ensuring all league conditions are adhered to
• First aid training
• Implementing the RESPECT campaign
• Arranging training venues
• Fundraising to cover the gap between membership subscriptions and running costs
• Website maintenance
• Kit provision including footballs, training aids, first aid kits
• Organisation and catering for Christmas party and other events

We welcome and appreciate any help from parents, especially with preparing the pitch for matches, putting up the goals etc.
