The football club are delighted to announce the signing of two players who will join the first team with immediate effect.
The first signing is attacking player Cedwyn Scott who was a free agent but his previous clubs include Dunston UTS, Huddersfield Town, Dundee, Berwick Rangers and Forfar Athletic. The forward player has a keen eye for goalscoring being Dunston's second highest goal scorer before departing earlier this month. The 21-year-old has a wealth of experience through his previous clubs, the skillful, intelligent player made three Scottish Premier league appearnaces with Dundee before going on loan to Berwick and Forfar. Released from Dundee at the end of last season when they were relegated out of the Scottish Premiership, he came back home and signed for Dunston where his goals have helped the UTS in their league campaign.
Cedwyn has trained with the first team the past couple of weeks and has impressed manager Kevin Bolam and assistant Mick Mulhern who have acted to sign him to strengthen our attacking options for the league and FA Vase campaigns.
The club have also signed Angelos Eleftheriadis from Whitley Bay. Angelos has joined the team in a dual role, primarily as the first team's strength and conditioning coach supporting both Kevin, Mick and the sports therapist Kim in ensuring the players are at their best physical condition ahead of matches, however as a seasoned defender with great experience the club have also registered him as a player as cover options for the remainder of the season.
The club would like to welcome both players to the club and wish them every success in their roles.
