In 2022 Hesketh Bank AFC will celebrate their centenary. To mark this incredible milestone we are looking to produce a book chronicling the history of the club throughout the last ten decades. We want to share tales of success and struggle and we aim to not just tell a football story, but one that reflects the history of our village across this past century. Club’s like ours exist across the country and we hope that our story will resonate with many volunteers involved in the emotional world of amateur football.

We’d especially like to hear from anyone who has a tale to tell from the early days of football in Hesketh Bank (1920s to 1960s).
