Adam joined Hesketh Bank as a 6 year old in 1990. He went through the ranks at the club and played his first senior game on 11th November 2000 against Poulton Town. Having played at the club for 14 years Adam decided to move to nearby rivals Fleetwood Hesketh in 2004.

Adam came back to Hesketh Bank in 2011 at the age of 27. He was instrumental in helping us secure our second ever double by having a solid season at centre-back, that season he was awarded the 'Player of The Season' award for his solid performances. However, due to family and work commitments Adam had to give up football but came back a year later at 31 in aim to add to his 178 first team appearances.
