We met Maldon & Tiptree in the FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round on 14th September 2013 at Park Drive - a 2-0 win for Swifts with goals from Reece Morgan & a penalty from Ryan Doyle.

In the FA Vase we met the much missed Tiptree United club twice - the 1975/76 season saw Roggie Corrie's Swifts side win 2-1 away in their 1st Round tie with goals from Steve Austin & Tommy McCabe.

Tiptree United gained revenge for that defeat in the 1981/82 season in a 1st Round tie at Tiptree - our goal in a 1-2 defeat scored by Steve Swain.
