Saturday saw a dominant display at Lydney Town result in a 4-0 win. All the gaols came in the second half through Josh Davis, Matt Cheetham, Rhys Wells and Connor Britchford-Stanley.
Monday evening saw the lads make the trek to Hereford Pegasus and come away with another win and another clean sheet.
Highworth started brightly and could have gone ahead early on had Josh Davis not inadvertently blocked a shot near the home gaol line from a Highworth team mate.
Pegasus hit the the post with a long range effort on 20 mins but it was the visitors who took the lead 32 mins in. Home keeper Gwynne hit a clearance straight to Davis 25 yards out and the forward pushed forward to score with a lovely finish.
HT 1-0
Virtually straight from the second half kick off Davis was bundled over in the penalty area by Gwynne whose night was going from bad to worse. The goal keeper did atone for this error however by saving Sol Pryce's penalty to his right hand side.
Matt Cheetham flicked in a Piers Walton corner on 59 minutes for 2-0 as the visitors continued to control the game. Keeper Connor Johns was called upon to tip a Pegasus effort around the post but the game was finally put away 8 minutes from time when Connor
Britchford-Stanley tapped in following a fine run down the left by Davis.
FT 3-0
With 3 games remaining Highworth require a minimum of 4 more points to secure a play off place.
