Shay, who is a dynamic combative midfielder by trade, was Welling Utd U23s captain last season for their unbeaten double title winning run and his on-pitch leadership will be seen as invaluable as the club continues its growth.

Shay is the second player to be confirmed in the last two days by the club and will be joining former Welling U23 teammate Oghosa Williams at The Dalers.
