James made his 1st team debut back in the 2012/13 season aged just 15 years old. The following season, he was a member of the 2nd Division title winning squad.

In the 2014/15 season, he won the Young Player of the Year Award in addition to helping the squad reach the League Cup final.

His most recent success, still aged only 20, was winning promotion to the Premier Division in 2017/18.

James has made in excess of 150 appearances for the club.
