The sixth wicket partnership of 147 between Veryan Brooksby and Alex Ledger during Saturday's 1st XI game at home to Skipton equalled the all-time record for Illingworth in the Airedale and Wharfedale League.

It drew level with the existing sixth wicket partnership record set in June last year, ironically against Skipton, where Veryan's brother Luke shared an unbeaten 147 partnership again with Alex Ledger.

Ledger scored 52 on both occasions, whilst there was only a run difference between the Brooksby's scores, Veryan scoring 104 and the more talented Luke making 105*.
