Ipplepen Cricket Club have entered into a new, long-term partnership with the Kukri brand to supply our club clothing for several years to come. As a company, Kukri are very well established in supplying high quality cricket clothing, as they are the official suppliers to Somerset CCC, Exeter University CC plus many other local club teams.
As you will see from the catalogue below, we have a full range of playing, training and leisure wear ranging in size from 3-4 years to 5XL which should just about accomodate the full range of our membership! The designs have been chosen to match the 'Island' kit from a few years ago which was very popular and distinctive and which lots of people still wear, so hopefully no-one feels under pressure to buy large amounts of new kit if they still have existing kit in good condition.
All of the kit is a bespoke design and made to order so there is a long lead time between confirming order and receiving delivery. In order to guarantee receipt of clothing by the start of the outdoor season (end of April), all orders must be received no later than Monday 3rd February 2014.
Although there may still be opportunities to order kit after this date, it will not be delivered before the end of April and we will also be reliant of having enough orders to raise a minimum order, so please make every effort to place your orders by 3rd Feb.
As a "reminder" to senior members and to inform parents of juniors who may not be aware, the following points should be considered regarding what kit players are expected/encouraged to own...
1. Anyone playing for a "senior" cricket team (league or friendly) is expected to have their own "white" Ipplepen CC playing shirt and strongly encouraged to have their own club white trousers and jumper (except senior T20 matches where kit is provided). This does not have to be specifically kit from the 2014 catalogue so all members are advised to purchase kit "as needed" to replace lost, worn out or ill-fitting items.
2. Anyone playing for a "junior" cricket team (including girls and softball) is encouraged to have their own Ipplepen CC whites, however they are only expected to bring their own white trousers and can be provided with a club playing shirt if they do not have their own (district or county shirts may also be worn for junior games). Again this does not need to be specifically from the 2014 catalogue but these items can be purchased "if/when required"
3. Within the catalogue there is a range of training and leisure wear which we would encourage players of all ages to wear to training sessions (and which is also available to parents and supporters to purchase, should they wish to show extra support while keeping warm or sunbathing on the boundary)
PLEASE NOTE: As a fully inclusive club, we do not wish to create any 'barriers to participation' by people feeling unable to play. Should anyone feel they would have difficulties in funding the purchase of playing kit, treasurer Tom Cooper is more than happy to be contacted to discuss ways in which Ipplepen CC may be able to assist. Please contact Tom on tom_cooper@btconnect.com in confidence should this apply.
To order your kit, please use the order form (below) which also includes information about payment and delivery, and return to Cheryl Gorny (address on the form)

Dont forget - orders must be placed by February 3rd!!!
