After a fantastic quarter final win against third place Penarth Town, Byrnsey's boys will have no fear going into their semi final clash against high flying Barry Saints on Saturday 11th March.
The boys will travel to Cogan in good spirits and are enjoying a great season in Division 2, winning 5 of their last 6 games including the epic 5-4 quarter final win against Penarth and currently sit fourth in a very competitive division.
The lads will be looking to claim a place at Jenner Park for the first since Haydn Stait and Kevin Owens side claimed a famous 2- 0 victory over local rivals Tynywedd FC in the Supporters Cup back in 2014 with goals from Nick Preen and Dan Reid.
The last time a Marine side got to the final of the Dockers Cup final was way back in 2004 where the Marine were narrowly beaten 3-2 by Knap FC with goals from Kevin Owens and Gwyn Good Jnr, a game in which current manager Martin Byrne played a major role, in the defeat!!
Good luck to all involved and we hope we will be celebrating come Saturday evening. The boys will be hoping for a big crowd, so let's try and get behind the boys by getting to Cogan Leisure Centre for a 2 p.m. kick off.
