Forres and Nairn District Welfare Association had their annual AGM held at the Carlton Hotel on Sunday to discuss the upcoming season and the vote in the 2016 Executive Committee.
There were two positions available on the committee with Player Manager Craig Walker and Honorary Life Member Barrie Macdonald have been voted in to fill the 2 vacant roles. Doddie Munro stepped down as League Treasurer after many years of service. Doddie will be a great miss to the Association and we hope to see him down watching Jackos in the near future. Craig Walker will now take up this position and will work this role along with his role as Jackos Club Manager. Craig will slot right into this role as we all know Craigie loves a spreadsheet.
Barrie Mcdonald was voted in as League Secretary. Barrie takes over from Matthew Young who done a fantastic job last year juggling 3 roles to keep the league going. Barrie brings with him a wealth of experience and will definitely bring a new fresh approach to the association.
I hope you will join me in congratulating both Craig and Barrie in their new roles.
