Kettering Fc retained the Cherry Hinton Trophy as we defeated Peterborough Champions Alconbury 4-3 on pens.Earlier in the day we had good wins against Newmarket, Cherry Hinton Blues/whites and Keddenton with our only loss against the finalist Alconbury to finish Top and Qualify for the Final. The Final was dominated by Kettering and we created some good chances but time ran out for us and penalties would decide the winners.After Holmes, Hansen and Honour had tucked their pens away in style Tanser would pull off a super save and then step up to score the winning pen to secure another Title for this talented group off lads.Well done to all the squad as once again we showed our strength in depth but an extra mention goes to Norris and Andrews who were superb all day but Tanser's late heroics earns him player of the tournament.
