Community

Kew AFC is commited to working closely with schools in the local community. We continually build and develop these relationships to ensure the club is providing access for as many children as possible to participate and enjoy playing football.

We offer our facilities and coaching free of charge to encourage schools to participate in our football festivals.

During the 13/14 season we coached the Latchmere School football team, and also ran Beat The Goalie at their summer fayre.
We hosted two girls only school football festivals, the first of which was the second largest the Surrey FA had ever been involved in, with close to 100 girls playing.
Kew also hosted a year 2 boys only football festival with schools travelling from as far as Chessington to participate.
The Kingston Borough School team will now use Kew as its base for all home matches, training and trials.

All of these activities and new initiatives will be hosted again at Kew during the 14/15 season in partnership with Kingston School Sports.
