Inspired by Ron, their team embarked on a challenge consisting of a 14km trek around the Lake District, raising £4,000 for Kings Norton Rugby Football Club. Ron has been involved within the club for years, starting his journey as a player, before continuing on to become Club President, a member of the committee. Even now, he remains a significant presence within the Rhinos teams, and a friendly face within the clubhouse.

Ron Bunce said: “We are so grateful for the generosity of everyone who donated to this challenge. The money raised by Sanctuary Care will go a long way to providing much-needed training, facilities and opportunities for our young players."
